A portion of Palmer Drive, from E. Racine Street to Sharon Road, is scheduled to close to through traffic on Monday, February 9. The closure will remain in effect through the end of March. The City will have a signed detour posted, directing traffic to use E. Racine Street and S. Main Street.

In addition to the roadway closure, the segment of the Ice Age Trail within the project limits will be closed to both bicyclists and pedestrians for the duration of the project. Trail users are encouraged to plan alternate routes.

The closure is necessary to accommodate sanitary sewer rehabilitation work being completed as part of the City’s annual utility maintenance program.
